Through Extended Schools Initiative, we were able to extend our musical skills by having a weekly music afternoon for pupils aged 8-11yrs. We established new choirs and we have extended this to include: main choir, fun choir, Makaton choir, drum group, sensory group and percussion groups.
Groups perform at various times throughout the year and at events both inside and outside the classroom/school environments.
Music takes place throughout school each day in every room. Music therapists are also invited into school to work in various ways.
